How to reach Stresa in 2015
Stresa is preparing for the new season 2015! Let’s see what changes in schedules we have this year.
From 1st of April till 31st of October 2015 there is a regular shuttle service Alibus from Malpensa to Stresa, it goes every 2-3 house during the day. The earliest bus runs at 7.30 am. Tickets need to be reserved online at least one day before the departure date. Here you can download timetable and see the prices.
S.A.F. bus runs twice a day from Milan Lampugnago station to Stresa. Here check for the rates and timetamble. Please nota that the bus doesn’t run on Sundays and Public Holidays.
There are 6 trains a day that leave from Milan Porta Garibaldi station and head to Domodossola, with a stop in Stresa, 5 trains a day from Milan’s Central Station to Domodossola with a stop in Stresa and 5 trains from Milan’s Central Station heading to Geneva/Basel with a short stop in Stresa. Take the A8 motorway towards Laghi-Varese, then the A26 motorway towards Gravellona Toce. Take exit Carpugnino if you are ok with going down a curvy road, otherwise continue to exit Baveno/Stresa and follow the signs, Stresa will be after Baveno.
